Baby??
So...This weekend Jacob and I babysat for my brother-in-law. And it was yet another reminder of why we are waiting to have kids. I love those kids to death, but spending an entire day with them...That is just not something I am ready for on a permanent basis. The funniest part was that Jake's cousin was having his wedding reception at my in-laws and so everyone there thought it necessary to ask me why Jake and I are yet to have kids. Okay, I might be exaggerating a little. But....We have only been married fourteen months-ish. No need for babies yet! It was also quite humorous to me that my cute little nephew Dax was often mistaken for my own kid. And he is 13 months....I do NOT need/want a baby right now. And so please don't ask me if the reason we don't have a baby is because I cant have one. Please don't ask when we plan on having a baby. And please don't ask why we are waiting. Quite frankly, its not really any of your business. But I am sure that when Jacob and I do decide that it is the right time for us, I will tell you. Love Katie

That's always obnoxious. Please tell me no one really asked you if you can't have kids. That's so inappropriate.
I had my niece and nephew for a day a couple weeks ago, and while at the park with them I fell off the playground equipment and hurt my back. It hurt like crazy for about a week. So perhaps we've actually waited too long and now I am too old for children. lol
It gets better, after 3 years they just assume you can't have kids and stop asking and I just don't say anything. Also, I don't blame you at all, I do NOT want kids right away like some people.
